Meet agent. Drive to Chong Kemin valley. Lunch in Ashu
guest house on the way. Trek upstream along Toruaigyr valley to the foothills
of Kyzyl Bulak pass. Free time before dinner to explore the environs.
Dinner around fire. Overnight in tents.

Breakfast. Continue trekking up the valley. There is a
marked change in the vegetation as we climb more steeply to the top of
Kyzyl Bulak pass (3300 m). Here we cross Kyungei Ala-Too range. From the
pass there is a breathtaking view of Issyk-Kul lake. Lunch on the other
side of the pass. Trek to the lower grounds of Tyuz Ashuu valley. Dinner.
Overnight in tents.

Breakfast. Easy trek down along the poor jeep road. Meet
vehicle. Onward travel.
