Description:  This one day-long hike takes up in Konorchek valley located 125 km East of Bishkek - capital city of Kyrgyzstan. Locals refer to Konorchek as a small copy of Grand canyon-the products of erosion which lasts 1.5-2 million years, also some parts of Canyons have some specific names which refer to the scenery: Hiroshima, bobsleigh, sky scraper, fairy tail, grand canyon and Aeolian castles. The hike provides the travelers with beautiful and picturesque scenery of Kyrgyz range.

Route: The route begins with 125 km drive to Bo'om valley by Bishkek - Issyk-Kul lake road. From here the trail continues another 7 km up through the dry canyon to Aeolian castles - the part of the larger system.

Grade: The tour is full day hiking on foot. Paths are generally in good shapes. Some sections can be steep but not technically difficult. Average walking time is around 5-6 hours. Daily altitude gain is about 500-800 m. You must be reasonably fit to attempt this hike. Hike graded as Fairly easy: For all recreational walkers, hikers and trekkers.

Hike Crew The hike is assisted by guide, and sometimes by cook and porters who carry camping gear for the hike.
